Meet the Founder – Anita Nell
Anita Nell is a seasoned entrepreneur and respected leader in South Africa’s professional beauty and aesthetic industry, with over a decade of experience building and growing successful beauty brands.
She is the founder of Derma Roller Systems SA and Best Beauty Buys, launched in 2009 and 2013 respectively, both of which have become trusted sources of professional-grade beauty tools and skincare solutions. Through these ventures, Anita developed deep expertise in product sourcing, brand development, professional education channels, and market expansion within the aesthetic and skincare sector.
In 2025, she launched Beauty Revive, a professional skincare and wellness brand designed to reflect her evolved, science-led approach to skin health. Beauty Revive combines advanced formulations with functional, evidence-based ingredients, focusing on results-driven skincare while prioritising long-term barrier integrity and professional guidance.
Beyond her own brands, Anita is the exclusive South African distributor of KRX Aesthetics, BAO H. Lab, Dr.Platon, and Lumaflex, bringing innovative, professional-grade devices and technologies to local practitioners. Through these partnerships, she provides access to cutting-edge solutions, empowering beauty professionals to deliver safe, effective, and advanced treatments to their clients.
Known for her hands-on leadership, unwavering commitment to quality, and education-first philosophy, Anita bridges the gap between professional aesthetic treatments and accessible, high-performance skincare—helping both practitioners and consumers make informed, confident choices. She continues to grow her businesses with a clear vision rooted in science, integrity, and sustainable results.
In 2023, at the age of 57, Anita faced a major personal challenge when she underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor on her optic nerve. The surgery was successful, and she made a strong recovery within six months. During her rehabilitation, Anita incorporated infrared light therapy as part of her overall wellness and recovery routine. She credits this supportive therapy with aiding her healing process and assisting with post-surgical hair regrowth. Today, she continues to thrive—stronger than ever—while undergoing regular scans and monitoring as part of her proactive health journey.
