precautions

Salicylic Acid is an active ingredient that may sensitise and dry the skin with overuse. Dr. Alek Nikolic recommends that you introduce sk.in pure slowly into your skin care regime. Do not use if pregnant, breast feeding, or planning to become pregnant or if you are severly allergic to aspirin. Not to be used on dry and/or sensitive skin types. There is a link between allergy to aspirin and the use of salicylic acid. However, this has been shown to be a concern when being exposed to high concentrations of Salicylic acid (Biomed Pharmacother. 1988;42(8):493-8.). The 2% concentration found in sk.in pure should be used with caution in people who are allergic to Aspirin.

Moisten a cotton pad with the sk.in pure solution and apply to the affected area every third night for the first two weeks, and every second night after that, or as directed by your cosmetic doctor, dermatologist, or skincare professional.
Always use a sunblock with an SPF of 30 or higher that contains Zinc Oxide and/or Titanium Dioxide during the day while using this product.

To treat acne and blemish prone skin, to reduce sebum or oil production and minimises pores.
An at home chemical facial peel that assists with preventing aging skin concerns, hyperpigmentation and acts as an exfoliant.

The ingredient formula combines Salicylic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, Zinc PCA, and Papaya/Pineapple extract to help control acne breakouts and remove acne-causing bacteria. These ingredients also work to control sebum production and to reduce the appearance of pores. The ingredient formula gently exfoliates and hydrates the skin at the same time, leaving your skin feeling soft, hydrated, and plump. Regular use will result in an improvement in pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, and skin texture. sk.in pure will last for 4 to 6 months if the recommended regime is followed with use on the face and neck areas.
