Increased cell turnover, decongestion of pores, reduced inflammation, and a fresher, brighter appearance happens almost immediately. Acne will begin to clear and subside within one to two weeks. It can take four to six weeks to see a reduction of pigmentation.
Normally mandelic peels do not cause the classic skin peeling off effect as the peel is mild. However, the effects of the peel are taking place. You should not use any scrubs or active creams for the first week. A good sunscreen and specialised post-peel creams are recommended.
